Manuscript Features

The text as given in the present MS consists of 21 stanzas, whereas several editions of the text consist of 22 stanzas. Stanza 21 of these editions (beginning with etan niśamya) is missing in the present MS.

As mentioned by the scribe in the stanzas following the colophon, the Ghaṭakarpara is particularly distinguished by the use of yamakas (ghaṭakarpakṛtakāvyaṃ ślokaṃ yamaka­cihnakaṃ).
